"It appears your Metroid DNA is draining energy, which causes mutations to hasten energy drains." muttered E. Mario took another blood sample, the three doctors examining them as Samus sat on the sofa, twiddling her thumbs as best she could with her new claws. "What's happening to me?" she asked worriedly. She looked down at her massive, changed form. Samus got off, looking at Zelda's concerned face, giving a concerned expression back. "Yeah, you've drained all the power." added Dr. Her incisors grew into fangs, her eye color changed to red, her fingernails changed to claws that resembled Metroid's teeth and four Metroid teeth appeared on her gut, forming a "ring" around her navel.

Samus started normally, then the treadmill began slowing down as her breasts grew to the size of her head and her rear and thighs grew twice as wide as her shoulders, sticking back out a full foot and a half! Her stomach grew to be full-term with large quadruplets, then some strange changes happened.
Mario got a blood sample and tested her reflexes, ears, eyes, nose and throat before getting out a treadmill. "Yeah, I held onto the energy for evidence." replied Samus. "So, you say you grabbed the fridge handle and the kitchen momentarily lost power and you bloated?" asked Dr. She had been fat plenty of times due to Morph Materia and Bayonetta, but this felt different, she felt.full, like she had just gorged herself and needed to belch and cut all the gas out of her system. She could've just fired it off in her Power Suit, but knew it'd be better for the Doctors to see the effects first-hand. Samus headed into the living room and lay on the sofa, rubbing her stomach, bloated with pure energy. Mario and maybe some other physicians to come over." replied Zelda worriedly. What if I hurt you.or killed you? I've seen Metroids leave things as dried, decaying husks." frowned Samus. "I really don't want to risk your life, Zel. "We've been hugging and kissing for the past three days, I think I'll be fine." smiled Zelda. "Hold on, I just absorbed the kitchen's electricity, I don't want to risk absorbing your energy." urged Samus. "Crap, thought the X-Parasite would keep that from happening." she muttered, belching right afterward. Samus looked down, rubbing her pudgy gut to confirm what her eyes saw. "Um, you expanded out of nowhere.and there seems to have been a minor power loss." replied Zelda. The kitchen lights flickered, the uncooked bread popped from the toaster, and Samus' gut, breasts and butt all expanded to the point she looked nine months pregnant with chubby cheeks and the hint of a double chin. Samus then grabbed the fridge handle to open it and three things happened simultaneously. "Yeah, maybe I'll try a practice Smash Battle later." she said, pressing her toast down. "You seem to be recovering nicely." smiled Zelda. Samus entered the kitchen, giving Zelda a quick peck before putting two pieces of bread in the toaster.
The mission had been harrowing, even by her standards, forcing them to postpone their celebratory vacation to Delfino Island while she made sure she was well. Her wife, bounty huntress Samus Aran, had just returned after a new mission to the planet ZDR.
Zelda sighed contentedly as she buttered her toast, getting it ready to sprinkle cinnamon on it.
